Shinies an’ Stuff.
As a dwarf I do rather love my little bits o’ shiny stuff - but bein’ an adventurer, too, I adhere tae the rule that it doesn’t have tae actually shine to be pure gold. *wink*

Another unashamed ‘lookit the shinies I got!’ post. I’ve been quite lucky lately and I think I’ve bored my guild to tears so anyone watching on here can listen to me now, too. I’ve also finished another of my self-set goals, too.
Rep
First of all…
Ding Exalted - Shattered Sun Offensive!
Ding Exalted - Aldor!
Finally hit exalted with the SSO after a few runs last night and four dailies today. This contributed to today’s swag bag of goodies. Aldor, as I mentioned previously, was something I’d switched too not long ago and, sadly, I can only claim to have ground most of my rep in the auction house. I’d wanted to be Exalted before 2.4 but it came a week earlier than I had expected so I had some catching up to do.
From the Aldor Inscriptions vendor I got myself a [Greater Inscription of Vengeance] and stuck it on my shoulders.
2.4 Goodies
With exalted SSO came some new shinies for Aurik - not quite as many as he had at revered but that’ll change once the jewelcrafting recipe’s become available on our server.
One thing I was quite excited about getting was the [Shattered Sun Pendant of Might] - if you read the description you’ll note the ‘exalted with Aldor or Scryer’ bit. That would be why I stripped the auction house bare of [Marks of Sargeras] and a few [Fel Armaments] which were actually cheaper per point of rep than some of the marks. It’s a nice neck and the proc seems to fire off quite often.
Of course I picked up a [Tabard of the Shattered Sun]. I couldn’t not, it’s so damn sexy; even on little old me as y’can see above. Ahem.

I was also very lucky last night and got a [Phoenix Hatchling]!* I’d seen it drop twice before and both times came in second by a margin of less than ten. This time, when I rolled a 43, I dismissed winning straight away. The others rolled a 14 and a 7, the tank ‘didn’t collect pets, lol’ and the other member had it already. Cue happy-dance time for me.
Crafted Items
Now onto things I’ve crafted. I’m sure a lot of people have gotten themselves some new things since the patch came out due to the ‘easier’ availability of nethers / vortexes and I’m no different. Of course, there was one thing I crafted which just happened to coincide with the release of 2.4 and that was Avarix’s [Alchemist's Stone]. It’s a really nice upgrade and suited for all of my specs at the moment (Avarix’s trinkets weren’t all that great). It will be a while, probably, until Avarix is able to get his recipe for the upgraded alchemist stones but I’m looking forward to getting them nonetheless. I’m assuming here that it’s possible to craft both the [Redeemer's Alchemist Stone] and [Sorcerer's Alchemist Stone] - does anyone know if that is not the case? I would have figured their ‘unique’ status didn’t include each other despite the fact that they don’t, obviously, stack… Either way it’ll be the healing trinket for me first as that will still be a huge upgrade on my dps trinkets at the moment.
Dryn is also now the proud owner of a pair of [Surestrike Goggles v2.0]. I really could have waited on these as he’s not got the gem slots for a decent meta, yet, but I figured: ‘what the hell’ as they give him the ability to see the gas clouds and whatnot as he levels. This has already earned me a fair bit back in primals.
Other Stuff
I also made myself a new Paladin… but a post about that later! I have a few posts up-and-coming which aren’t ‘lookit what I got!’, so bear with me - they need a bit of time and patience, neither of which I’ve had an ample supply of this past week or so.

Grats on the pet! Man, wish I had one.
Good luck getting one - they’re adorable little balls of uhm…. fire.
Hi again!
I just wanted to let you know that I’ve started the transforming process of my blog, going English now. It will take some time (I’ve written some 50 posts since the start in february), but step by step I’ll do it. So the blog right now is updating backwards, a bit odd.
At least I hope I’ll get one more reader out there (you :)), maybe raising from seven to eight daily visitors…
Thanks for the inspiration!
hug

Sorry for taking so long to reply, as usual! I’ve added you to my blogroll Larísa, and my feed reader. Looking forward to going through the backlog now and having a good read.
Thanks again for all of the awesome comments.
