The problem with writing a game blog is that sometimes the game part sort-of overtakes the blogging part. I will get back into my writing stride, honestly I will!

I’ve now visited Naxx for the first time (yes, first time!) and I’m enjoying it – though Spider and Plague Quarters could maybe have done with a litttleee upward tweak in difficulty. I’m not complaining at the moment – raids have been relatively relaxed and I’m enjoying being ‘eased’ into Wrath with nights which don’t require me to spend a fortune on mats due to so many wipes.
Talking of mats… I’ve started the slow grind towards maxing out my professions and my goodness some of them are painful. I seem to be extremely unlucky when it comes to disenchanting – getting an overly large number of essences and hardly any dust. That’s not even mentioning the number of shards I have. I really would like some more green quest rewards, Blizz. I know blue rewards are cool and all, but when you make every bloody enchant cost more than 12 dust then maybe give us a way to get the mats a little easier whilst levelling? I guess I’m just annoyed because I’m only a little way off being able to learn some of the really cool enchants and I’m stuck there waiting to accumulate dust (at 4g / dust on Bloodhoof I’m sure as hell not buying it).
Khierra has been an awesome help, though, for levelling alchemy and inscription – he’s been sending me piles upon piles of herbs to mix and mill (especially since he got to Sholazaar Basin). Although I’m still nowhere near maxed I’ve at least been able to keep up with my daily inscription research and weekly alchemy research!
The other grind I’ve began working on is levelling. Yes, again. Firstly Aurik – I was going to leave him until later but I’m actually enjoying playing him and mining has always been my favourite gathering profession! He is now a rather reasonable 72 (I’ve only been playing him in the evening after raids and the like).
I also spent some time, this evening, playing on my Death Knight – getting her to level 62 in the space of a few hours. This was greatly speeded up by my little jaunt with a group of other death knights into Hellfire Ramparts. I had seen this done on beta and it was as much fun on live as it looked! We had a few deaths, yes, but most were due to mispulls and the like. Although I’m currently levelling as blood I am very tempted by a dual-weilding frost build – just to try something different.
I’m sad at the moment by my lack of ability to update with shiny pictures but wowmodelviewer seems to be in a bit of a muddle at the moment with all of the new content etc. so it may be a while before I can prettify my posts up to the standard I like.

My problem with enchanting is getting the scrolls to enchant onto, there is no way im wasting the enchants like i used to just to level but no one in my guild is even on to make them when i need.
All my mats are in my bank waiting for the scrolls or whatever there called.
And also im a tailor <3 when it comes to greens to DE.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that a lot of the regular blogs I read seem to have slowed down or thinned their content since Wrath was released. No worries, we’re all sitting here patiently waiting. =)
One thing about enchanting. My hubby is an enchanter, and what he says is that it seems Blizzard has switched up weapons and armor with regard to what de’s into what. Up until now, armor tended to give dust, and weapons tended to give essences. Now he’s getting dust from weapons, and essences from armor. I don’t know if that’s actually true, but he is having the same problem as you are, with more essences than he knows what to do with, and not nearly enough dust.
SO true re the gaming/blogging thing. :)
I thought I’d seen you on Aurik a bit more recently!
I’m looking forward to seeing Naxx etc, but I’m guessing it’ll be a while before I set foot in there – I’m still in half of my lvl 70 gear!
My blogging is behind as well, don’t worry about it. :) The game is just too much fun right now, and if I have an hour to write a post, I’d rather kill stuff in Dragonblight. Besides, aren’t our readers busy playing themselves? :)

Esdras: I’m quite lucky in that I’ve also got a scribe – my druid levelled quite a few points on scrolls. Not enough to max enchanting on, given, but enough to at least make using all of those mats less painful.
Hopefully my tailor will be level 65 soon and can start making some green wrath gear to d/e!
Asara: To me it’s basically seemed as if there is no or less preference for one item to make one or other component. I’m getting dust from both and essences from both and an annoying number of shards from greens, too!
