Sunday Screenies - Onyxia
Bloody great big dragons! Ah mean, it’s all well knowin’ what’s goin’ on in Stormwind, but it’s a whole bloody other thing tae find a big flamin’ dragon when yer just mindin’ yer own business…
In an effort to stave off boredom I’ve been pottering about trying to do the Onyxia quests. Finally got them done after a few hours of running back and forth and, for the first time, I walked through Stormwind and got to see Onyxia spawn! Sadly there were no curious lowbies around. *ahem* Now I only need a trip to UBRS!

Ah telt ye that thon bloody Paladin wis gonnae end up healin’ an’ a wis right. Ah caught him goin’ we some other adventurers tae the Deadmines (they still huvnae sorted that wee problem oot it seems…) and he had some interestin’ clothes on. In fact, when he came oot he had even more interestin’ clothes oan…
What is this monster I’ve created….
1 commentSunday Screenies - Prince’s Twisted Nethers
Ah cannae say ah find the sight o’ the knickers o’ some big blue demon aw that appealin’ but Jhai seems tae be somewhat pleased a’ this picture she took. Somethin’ about action shots an’ dreams and… well, ah don’t really want tae know why that lass is so keen on gettin’ hersel’ hit like that. Druids, eh?
SQUEE I got to tank Prince, I got to tank Prince! *ahem*
I know the screenie this week isn’t too amazing to look at but it marks a big achievement for me. There are bigger bosses, there are badder bosses, there are more complex bosses to tank and we got about the easiest infernal drops you could hope for last night… But I TANKED PRINCE. One of the main reasons I got so irked with my first druid / guild was being asked to sit out and dps whilst a warrior tanked. I am not hugely fond of kitty dps (though it is growing on me now…) but I love tanking. I wish you could have a section in the new achievements window to list ‘personal achievements’ - this is one I’d add.
I also tanked Attumen (I’ve only been on midnight before), Moroes, Maiden, Illhoof (had only done Kil’rek before) and Nightbane - and my guildies had to listen to me squeeing about tanking them each time, hehe.
4 commentsSunday Screenies - Invasion Point: Nagrand
I love Nagrand - it’s a place I could (and have) happily spent hours grinding in. When I was working on my next post (it’s a big one, hence the dearth of other posts this week) I took this screenie and I kinda like it - the beautiful hills and waterfalls of Nagrand slowly being eaten into by the Forge Camps!

Silithus is a creepy lookin’ place - all them beasties! But ah took mah self over there in search o’ somethin’ fer a friend…
A guildy posted a quiz this week asking people to ‘find the tree’ - posting various screenshots of his leafy-druid self all around the world and asking people to name the zone and sub-zone. Some of them I knew vaguely where they might be but was at a loss to the sub-zone name. One such was Silithus - I’ve not done many quests there on any char so I toddled over and found myself at Ahn’Qiraj - somewhere I’ve never been - and promptly fell in love with how it looks.
3 commentsSunday Screenies - Sunset + Shiny
The first screenie is one I took a month or so back (whilst still levelling Jhai) - I’d completely forgotten it and only found it when I was poking through my screenshot folder today - an oddly pretty picture of Burning Steppes as I was flying over it.
The other two? Some silly shots of my playing with my new toy - the [Orb of the Sin'dorei] in Mount Hyjal. *grin*
2 commentsSunday Screenies - Stockade Showdown
Haha! That wee druid really has a thick hide - she decided tae go show them uppity inmates fae the Stockades o’ Stormwind what for! It wis a sight tae be beheld, ah’m tellin’ ye.
I wanted some wool cloth and a quick google told me the Stockades was my best bet for grinding some. I have totally missed this sort of thing - barelling through an instance, pulling as much as I could and swipe, swipe, swipe. Unfortunately Stockades has the problem that many of the mobs ‘backhand’ which stuns you no matter what your level so my health dipped a few times when I did some or the larger pulls.
Three runs and about 11 stacks of wool later and I was grinning from ear to ear. I really missed having a tank char! It’s so much more fun than killing things one at a time.
3 commentsSunday Screenies - Alterac Valley
In the middle o’ a battle ye don’t usually hae time tae look around yae and appreciate the beauty of the landscape - if ye dae yer likely tae leave wi’ no heid! However, thon young druid told me she’d found a nice spot and so ah took a picture tae keep her quiet once the heat of the battle had progressed further down the Valley. Turns out she’s not got a bad eye, eh?
I spied the tree branch and just had to stand on it whilst healing - no idea why - and then noticed the really nice scenery behind me. Odd to see such peaceful scenery in the middle of a battleground…
3 commentsSunday Screenies - Double Druids
Since I didn’t manage to get a screenie up last Sunay (bah!) I’m putting up a double round this week! A while ago I was in Darnassus on my Tauren druid, trying to take some screensfor Phae’s Arbor Day celebrations. I ended up in trouble with the guards and spent a lot of time swimming about in the water leading to my first shot:
In other druidy goodness, last weeks Kara run was choc full of all sorts of ‘em:
Hopefully, at some point, we’re going to try a full 10 druid Kara! Two shy people seem to have snuck off the side - or perhaps the warrior and shammy wanted to get in on the druidy goodness!
Edit: Oops, seems I pressed sumbit insteadof save… oh well, ‘Saturday’ screenies this week ;P

Kara this week was hot! After taking down Prince we headed to splat Netherspite and then proceeded to dance beside his corpse in full Midsummer Fire Festival style. /dance
