Arts
Been swaying back and forth about sticking my WoW arts up here - it’s a pretty mixed bag. I used to almost exclusively do cel/anime style art but have been trying to get better at more realistic drawing - something I’ve not tried for years. This, in conjunction the fact I can’t colour realistically either has meant a real mix quality wise. Ah well, practice makes perfect, right?
Works In Progress
Another picture of Aurik (in action, this time!). I don’t get much time to colour things so I figured I’d stick them up - I’ll move them once I get around to colouring them.

Finished Works
Indigo
My GM in t2. A wee present for a really awesome person.
Wolfrider
Wolfrider kindly gave me reference pics (which I thoroughly ignored whoops..) and let me draw his character.
Hulan the Holy
Hulan also kindly gave me some reference pics of herself as practice material! I’m not sure I managed to capture that innately dwarf womanliness but I really enjoyed drawing a beer-swilling dwarfette anyway!
Aurik
Lazyness prompted the cel-style colouring but I was trying to make the lines more realistic - I’m not a huge fan of totally cartooney dwarves. I’d done a few pencil sketches before doing this but drew this direct into the computer with my tablet so I could draw a little more freely.
This is the image I now use for most of my forum avatars etc.
Into Enemy Territory
This image was a return to my old-style cel-shading habits. Blood elves, in the anime-esque way they look, work well with this type of shading and, to be honest, I was daunted by the prospect of colouring this whole thing more realistically. I don’t often do background (/lazy) but I decided to try on this image - a commemoration of the trip I took to Darkshore, with my Blood Elf hunter, to get myself a Ghost Saber!
Charge!
A picture of my own character and those of a few friends - Mage, Warlock and Paladin belfs with my own Trollette warrior.
Wicoth - Orc Warrior
A friend of mine from Sporeggar, Wicoth the Orc Warrior who dragged me, time and again, into instances with him at 4am in the morning. I promised him a pic in the gear he wanted at the time and this is the result - I can’t for the life of me remember what the gear was… Also the first time I’d really tried to draw an orc!
New Family
This picture was done around the time Mharai was level 60. She’d just stealthed UBRS for her Worg Pup - an accomplishment I was proud of. Mharai’s character was based around her being a breeder / keeper of unusually large mounts (for the purposes of Tauren riding) so I thought a little picture with her own wolf mount and a pile of puppies might be fun to draw. The background is a screenie of somewhere in Ashenvale.
Thorns!
One of the first times I ever tried drawing a Tauren - this is my druid, Mharai, sometime in her first 10-15 levels. I had just gotten thorns and thought it might be interesting to draw a picture of her casting them.

Great style! Thanks for putting ‘em up. And I happen to like totally cartoony dwarves! ;)
Very interesting - do you use a drawing pad?
